If you are not sure which survey to instruct, it is best to speak to one of our surveyors first who will be able to advise which survey is most suitable for the property you are looking to buy (or sell).
Home surveys are carried out by Chartered Surveyors and provide a condition report on a property you are looking to buy (or sell) – they are like a ‘health check’ or ‘MOT’ for buildings.
Our Pre Sale survey will identify any potential issues that may affect the successful sale of your home and highlight them to you at the start of the process.

What is a Pro Active Pre-sale survey?
Imagine that you were thinking to sell your car – it is like an MOT for your car – but for your home – aimed at identifying any potential issues that may affect the successful sale.
We are instructed by you, (or if you prefer; your Estate Agent).
Our prices start from as little as £295.
Our Pre Sale survey will identify any potential issues that may affect the successful sale of your home and highlight them to you at the start of the process. This puts you in the driving seat!
If the survey does identify any structural defects or issues, DO NOT DESPAIR, you have options.
We can help you decide the best way forward and what you want to do next.
Your survey report gives details of any issues identified, advice on how serious, or not, the issues are and most importantly what is required to resolve them – you may even be covered under your buildings insurance for structural defects.
We will also advise you if we feel it is necessary to undertake further specialist investigations that might come up later – when the purchaser has the property surveyed (e.g. subsidence, wall tie failures or failed cavity wall insulation).
If issues be found, we can arrange for three independent contractors from our approved contractor list to provide you with a bona fide quote in approximately seven days. You are under no obligation to commission the work and you may employ a contractor of your own if you wish. You decide whatever is best for you.
